Standard Design Features

  • Cast Iron or Fabricated Steel Head assembly including single or thrust bearings and heavy duty coupling.
  • Standard schedule 40 Steel Column Pipe with cast or steel flanges.
  • Heavy duty centre bearing assembly for multicolumn assemblies.
  • Column shaft (s) AS1443 CS1040 Carbon steel 590 Mpa UTS with high tensile shaft nuts as standard or heavy duty shaft couplings.
  • Wet End shaft –standard AS2837-316 grade Stainless steel.
  • Wet End standard heavy duty build - Cast Iron AS1830 T150 - T220 grade. (Options including Boss or Double cover mounting, Gland Packed or Mechanical Seal -DIN 24960).
  • Suction Strainer - as per application.
  • Fasteners as standard - Zn coated 4.6/8.8 grade.
  • Seals/Gaskets as standard - Nitrile or insertion rubber.

Sump pumps are suitable for pumping vertically from tanks, sumps, rivers & lakes as well as tidal applications. In certain applications they are a more versatile and cost effective solution to the more expensive submersible pump.

Note : These are special build pump assemblies catering for individual applications therefore design / construction and assembly options are available.
