Basic Design Features for Centrifugal and Self priming APR pumps
- For pumping seawater, sewage, waste water and corrosive liquids
- Close coupled compact design ideally suited for restricted space installations.
- Electric motors to suit tropic conditions - totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) with operating voltages ranging from 240 up to 415 volt in single and three phase (depending on voltage).
- Mechanical seal to DIN 24960 standard - rubber bellows type (seal material application options available).
- As standard major components manufactured from heavy section marine grade bronze to AS1565 LG2.
Application options available
- Mechanical seals with hard faced seal seats.
- Electric motor voltage and frequency - for example 60hz motors
- Pump casing and impeller materials from cast 316 stainless steel or ni-resist.
- Pump impellers in open or closed configurations.
Applications other than for marine use include the agricultural, industrial and heavy duty domestic markets.
